It's June 12th and Buddy has been planning on going out west for a few months. This trip is to escort Kraig to Laramie, WY where he will be attending Diesel school in the fall. We all think it's a good idea for him to visit the school and get a feel for the area and then for the rest of the summer he'll be with Jeremy working on the ranch. At first I felt like this would be a trip that I would just be in the way or bored sitting at the ranch watching the men folk mend fences and such, but I have decided to go for the adventure. Hell, in previous visits I have trimmed out windows and doors, and painted decks, watch them erect a Mongolian Yurt, so we'll see what they have in store for me this time.
We'll pick up Kraig and Chesley at the end of the month for our road trip. Hopefully, we will have no mechanical problems as we have had in the past. It should take us about 3 days to reach Laramie and we'll stay in the area for a week to explore and visit the school. Chelsey is planning on flying back about mid-July and Buddy and I will stay on for a few more weeks.
Now to get packing.....will at least in my head. The RV is still at Camping World getting new batteries and a new inverter. Hopefully we'll pick it up in a few days.
