HAPPY 4TH

Enjoyed the day driving around Laramie checking out more western shops and restaurants.  The Wyoming University is downtown but this town is relatively small so you can get around with no problems.  This area is big for festivals and rodeos.  This time of year they hold a week of activities and call it "Jubilee Days".  We spent a few hours downtown roaming the area and going to the Farmers Day, which included local produce and arts and crafts.  Grabed a cold one at a place called "The Library Restaurant"....humm, nothing like the Library I'm use to.  This was just a typical sports bar.

Another evening at the campground enjoying some of Kriag's cooking.  Tonight was steaks! I had ordered a variety of meats from Omaha Steaks before we came so I brought those with me.  The chicken, and pork chops are great, but I was not impressed with the sirloins.  I have yet to try the Filet Mignon.

Watched 18 teams compete in the ranches cattle round up.  Pretty cool how they can control there herd and even more at their roping skills.
