After a week end of celebrating my birthday, Buddy retrieves the RV from Camping World only to find out there is a problem...thinking the fuel gauge is not reading correctly, it seems he has ran out of fuel on Hwy 11, or at least he thinks so. After several trips back and forth fueling the RV with a 2 gallon diesel can, he is headed home. No problems....now I'm nervous the fuel gauge is off and we will run out of gas on our trip out west.
Now it's Thursday before we leave and I'm taking inventory in the RV and find out that the microwave, central vacuum system and the rear DVD player is not working. Back to Camping World we go. No luck in getting these items fixed today....bummer....we'll just have to make do without them. On our way home from Camping World the RV started acting up again. Same thing as before.....acts like it is out of fuel. This time, Buddy decides to call our local service man and have him check the fuel system. It seems that it needed a new fuel filter. Okay, think we are okay for a Sunday departure to Virginia and then onward west.
